LG has recently announced that a new mobile device is about to join the mobile bandwagon. This new device from LG has been named the G Pad 8.3, and is slated to get an official release at the IFA 2013 Trade Show next week.
Why is this tablet gaining such high level of enthusiasm? What’s so special about this new product? Before we take a look at the specifications, here is a video made by LG focusing on the launch of the G Pad 8.3. Let’s have a look:
As given a hint in the video, one thing is completely clear – this tablet might be the first one of its kind being able to fit in the pockets of the users.
Weighing less than a pound, the G Pad 8.3 will be (at first) available in only white and black colors. It will come with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of memory, Android Jelly Bean OS, 5 megapixel primary camera and 1.3 megapixel secondary camera. Coming to the weight, it is actually a revelation in the world of tablets. The weight of this new tablet is going to be a little less than 350 grams which is the same as that of a newspaper.
With the recently launched G2 Smartphone (as a competitor to Samsung Galaxy S4), Lg has also said that this new product will be made available in the international markets in the fourth quarter of 2013.
